Golf for a Good Cause on Aug. 9!

The Academy of Medicine Education Foundation (AMEF), the charitable component of the AMCNO, is hosting the Swing for Students Golf Outing on Monday, Aug. 9, at Sand Ridge Golf Club in Chardon. This event was previously known as the annual Marissa Rose Biddlestone Memorial Golf Outing. Proceeds from the event help fund educational programs in our community, including medical student scholarships.

Several options are available to show your support. Registration for an individual golfer is $350 and includes greens fee, cart, caddy, lunch and dinner. Or, team up with your friends--a foursome's registration is now $1,000. You can also choose to attend either lunch or dinner with us at this beautiful club. Sponsorship opportunities range from Silver ($1,000) to Platinum ($5,000), and each tier includes at least one registration for a golfer, plus other benefits.

The event will begin with registration at 10:30 am, giving you some time to practice your swing and grab some lunch, before the 1 pm shotgun start. Also new this year is a silent auction and raffle prizes at dinner later in the day.

We hope to see you at Sand Ridge on the 9th!
