AMCNO President Dr. Englund Testifies on HB 248

On Tuesday, AMCNO President Dr. Kristin Englund provided testimony against HB 248, the dangerous anti-vaccination bill currently being heard in the Ohio House. She joined other physicians and health care professionals in educating legislators on why this bill should not be passed. Their simple message: vaccines save lives

ODH Vaccine Providers: Important Message about Ordering COVID-19 Vaccines

As of Monday, June 7, 2021, all COVID-19 vaccine providers who are enrolled with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) are required to directly order COVID-19 vaccine doses each week using the Vaccine Ordering Management System (VOMS).

CMS Increases Payment Amounts for Medicare Beneficiaries' At-Home COVID-19 Vaccinations

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced an additional payment amount for administering in-home COVID-19 vaccinations to increase efforts to better serve the 1.6 million adults age 65 or older who have difficulty leaving their home to get vaccinated.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has also created guidance on how to properly deliver vaccinations to these beneficiaries.
