SAMHSA Offers Mobile App for Practitioners to Assist with Opioid Use Disorder Treatment

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has released a new mobile application to assist practitioners who currently treat or plan on treating opioid use disorders.

The MATx (medication-assisted treatment) app features information on treatment options and medications approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for opioid use disorders; clinical support tools, such as prescribing and treatment guidelines and ICD-10 coding; and access to helplines and SAMHSA’s treatment locators.
