AMCNO President Dr. Fred Jorgensen Provides Remarks during the CWRU School of Medicine Commencement Award Ceremony

AMCNO President Dr. Fred Jorgensen spoke at this year’s Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine commencement awards ceremony. The ceremony was held on Saturday, May 20, and included remarks by Dr. Jorgensen to the medical students regarding the importance of becoming involved in the community and as a part of organized medicine.

He was also honored to present the Academy of Medicine Education Foundation (AMEF) Award to a graduating student who has shown outstanding commitment to the Cleveland and Northern Ohio community, and is a strong advocate for all patients and promotes the practice of the highest quality of medicine. This year’s AMEF Award recipient was Robin Iriele. 

Dr. Jorgensen was also present at the commencement ceremony the following day at Severance Hall. The commencement included the graduating class of medical students from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
