ODM Survey will Rate Medicaid PCPs’ Satisfaction Levels with Managed Care Plans

As previously reported, the Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) and Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) have developed a statewide initiative to survey Medicaid primary care providers (PCPs) to gauge their satisfaction with Ohio’s various managed care plans. The information will be used to compare performances among the plans to see how each one is rated against the others.

The survey rollout began January 22, and the submission deadline is March 19.

Keep in mind—responses to the survey will be confidential. Neither the health plans nor the ODM will be aware of the identity of any individual who responds. All responses and comment made by the PCPs will be aggregated for reporting purposes, and no individual will be identified in the process.

The aggregated survey results will be given to the ODM on June 30, 2018.
