- Ohio families now have a new at-home test that checks for the flu, COVID-19 and RSV all at once. The Flowflex Plus 4-in-1 test, recently announced by ACON Laboratories, is available at major retailers such as CVS and Walgreens.

- New analysis from Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) found that adults ages 50 to 64, particularly women, are likely to be hit hard by new federal Medicaid work requirements.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) this week opened a research office in East Palestine to study the health impacts of the 2023 Norfolk Southern train derailment.
- Sen. Warren (D-Massachusetts) and Sen. Hawley (R-Missouri) have introduced the “Break Up Big Medicine Act” prohibiting parent companies from owning a medical provider or management services organization and a PBM or insurer.
- The Trump Administration has revoked a scientific finding that had served as the basis for U.S. action to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change.
